Youthpass: for a better recognition of non formal education

The european project "Youthpass: for a better recognition of non forma education" is a training course approved by Italian Natonal Agency under the Youth in Action Program.

The training course will take place near Lecce, in Novoli, from 2 until 7 of July 2010. 40 participants will come from Portugal, Spain, France, Estonia, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Germany and Italy.

Youthpass is part of the European Commission’s strategy to foster the recognition of non-formal learning. As a tool to visualize and to validate learning outcomes gained in “Youth in Action” projects, it puts policy into practice and practice into policy: but…

Youthpass is much more than a technical tool or a piece of paper! We strongly believe in its potential in helping young people and others to put the sense into Learning to Learn, Lifelong Learning and recognition of non-formal learning. 40 people from 9 countries will work together on concrete experiences in implementing Youthpass, quality improvement in projects through Youthpass, learning to Learn and Self Directed Learning, comprehension and concrete translation of the 8 key-competences into practice, recognition of Non Formal Learning, bridges between EU policy, educational background and practice and strategic development.
